Mechanical Fitter / Technician

Location: Qatar

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical fitting or a similar role within an operational maintenance environment.
• Must possess original relevant documents to verify experience and qualifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Local hire candidates only, with preference given to those currently residing in Qatar.
• Perform mechanical repairs, installation, and maintenance on a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to address issues effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules and prevent equipment failures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inspection reports, to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians and apprentices in mechanical practices and safety protocols.
