Qualifications & Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Management Accounting, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Credit Analyst in Corporate, Institutional, or Commercial Banking.
• Expertise in Contracting and Real Estate sectors is highly preferred.
• GCC experience is considered an advantage.

Education

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, including financial modeling, industry analysis, and account conduct evaluation.
  • Prepare detailed customer reports, highlighting key financial insights, industry trends, and account performance.
  • Identify and articulate key risks associated with accounts and propose actionable mitigants.
  • Ensure that the quality of accounts aligns with the Bank’s risk appetite and adheres to established lending policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to managing portfolio risks, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices.
  • Lead Credit Facility Review (CFR) with detailed analyses for International, Local Corporate, SME, Trade Financing, and VIP clients, ensuring facility structures align with defined risk levels and proposing practical risk mitigants.
  • Conduct pre-deal discussions with Business and Credit Teams, ensuring stakeholder concerns are addressed and documented.
  • Perform accurate financial spreading, re-classifications, and ensure MRA grading reflects actual account risks.
  • Participate in site visits to customer premises and secured properties annually for key accounts.
  • Support portfolio analytics by preparing industry/sector reviews, conducting risk assessments, and enhancing credit risk management practices.
  • Track and monitor covenants and credit conditions, escalating overdue items for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to optimize the CFR process, improve TAT, and maintain consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank and QCB policies while promoting a robust risk management culture.
