Qualification & Experience:

  • Previous IT experience, preferably in the hotel, leisure, and/or service sector
  • Experience of all Microsoft systems
  • Experience of hotel applications, such as Fidelio and Micros, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Current technical skills and knowledge of technology
  • Excellent command in English
  • Good eye / attention to details

Roles and Responsibilities:

Systems Administration

  • Maintain and manage user/group accounts, configurations, and access permissions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system access issues.
  • Maintain detailed on-site documentation for all IT systems.
  • Ensure high levels of service and support as per Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Server Infrastructure Management

  • Assist in the planning, design, and capacity management of server infrastructure.
  • Monitor server performance, apply operating system upgrades and patches, and restore services as needed.
  • Perform regular backup procedures, ensure data integrity, and manage system recovery processes.
  • Oversee virus protection management and implement best practices.

Network Infrastructure Management

  • Support the planning and design of network infrastructure for current and future needs.
  • Assist in device implementation, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure optimal network functionality.

Deskside Support Services

  • Diagnose service outages and provide desktop restoration or repair services.
  • Coordinate hardware repair through third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Provide troubleshooting and restoration services for end-user systems, ensuring virus protection is in place.

Technology Implementation

  • Actively participate in property-level and corporate-initiated technology implementations.
  • Promote and maintain Four Seasons core technology standards and best practices.
  • Assist in the coordination of new acquisitions, openings, and major IT projects.

Maintenance and Proactive Processes

  • Develop and execute proactive maintenance processes for property systems.
  • Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
  • Maintain a high level of operational readiness and system availability.

Communication and Administration

  • Act as a communication point for technology-related issues within the property.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of third-party vendor management.
  • Document and promote best practices for property-level IT systems.
