Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Fashion, or any related field.
- 8 years of experience in a Buying position with retail experience, preferably in Luxury or Beauty.
- Highly motivated and self-starter.
- Great communicator with a exceptional relationship building skills.
- Organized with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, preferably with Arabic speaking background.
- Good knowledge on GCC culture, market and local fashion trends would be useful.
- Demonstrable customer relations management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Buyer is responsible for managing the buying function for the Beauty Division as well as supporting expansion plans for the Beauty. She/He is responsible for carrying the full commercial responsibility for suppliers, products, and stock within the assigned directorate.
The Buyer will be fully responsible for the directorate, including the buying plan and P&L which will be closely discussed with the Head of Buying. As a gatekeeper for the directorate all financial decisions relating to brand and product will be managed, such as pricing, markdown, stock, OTB management etc..
