QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software; knowledge of Oasys / Sun System / Opera is an advantage
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules according to hotel timelines.
- Ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Support in monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in payroll verification and other accounting-related administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
- Participate in audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings and data management.
