QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a butchery or kitchen environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Good English communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and long hours on foot.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation, cutting, trimming, and portioning of meats and poultry according to kitchen standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery area in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team with daily mise en place and production needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
