QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in audio visual setup, operation, and supervision.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, including sound systems, lighting, video, and projection technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Relevant certifications or training in AV technology is a plus.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate all audio and visual aspects for events, ensuring timely setup, operation, and dismantling of equipment.
  • Manage and maintain AV equipment inventory, ensuring all devices are in good working condition and properly stored.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly during events to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with event planners, clients, and other departments to understand AV requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Lead, train, and schedule AV technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
  • Oversee installation and configuration of sound systems, projectors, lighting, video conferencing tools, and other related equipment.
  • Maintain adherence to safety standards and company policies during all AV operations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest AV technology trends and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
  • Prepare technical documentation, event reports, and maintenance logs.
