Qualification & Experience:

High school diploma or vocational/technical certification in automotive body repair or related field (preferred but not always mandatory).
Specialized training in denting, welding, or body shop repair is an advantage.
2–5 years of hands-on experience in body repair/denting (automotive workshop, dealership, or service center).
Experience with both minor dents (paintless dent repair) and major accident repair (panel replacement, welding).

Job Purpose :

To repair and restore damaged vehicle body panels and structures to standards, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Principal Accountabilities :

Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and filter replacements.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Carry out advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and documented in the service records.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Adhere to company safety standards, policies, and repair procedures.
Keep up to date with new technologies, technical bulletins, and training programs.
Communicate effectively with the service advisor/foreman regarding job status and additional required repairs.
