QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in a butchery or kitchen environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
  • Good English communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and long hours on foot.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation, cutting, trimming, and portioning of meats and poultry according to kitchen standards.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support the kitchen team with daily mise en place and production needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality issues.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and kitchen protocols.
