QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in an engineering, maintenance, or administrative support role—preferably within a hotel or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams and cross-departmental partners.
- Familiarity with maintenance systems, work-order software, or basic engineering processes is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
- A proactive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards.
JOB PURPOSE :
- Coordinate daily engineering department activities, including scheduling, work orders, and task assignments.
- Assist in tracking preventive maintenance programs across all areas of the hotel to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, asset inventories, safety checks, and compliance documentation.
- Act as a communication hub between the engineering team, other departments, and external contractors.
- Support the Engineering Manager by preparing reports, updating logs, and monitoring project timelines.
- Follow up on guest room maintenance issues to ensure swift resolution and high guest satisfaction.
- Help coordinate contractor visits, quotations, and service agreements, ensuring all work meets hotel standards.
- Ensure all engineering files, permits, and technical documents are properly maintained and up to date.
