QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience: Previous experience in leading fitness classes or personal training is preferred.
  • Fitness Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, and fitness principles. Knowledge of a variety of exercise modalities and equipment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively motivate and engage participants. Ability to provide clear instructions and explanations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and inspire individuals or groups towards their fitness goals.
  • Adaptability: Ability to modify exercises or routines to accommodate different fitness levels or specific needs.
  • Physical Fitness: Maintain a high level of personal fitness and demonstrate proper exercise technique.
  • Professionalism: Present a professional and enthusiastic attitude, displaying punctuality, reliability, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Experience in Kids activities and summer camp training.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • To ensure the safety of all guests and employees using the Fitness Center.
  • Exhibits sensitivity to guest’s needs and cultural differences.
  • Motivates guests to adhere to a fitness program and achieve goals.
  • Evaluates the guest’s physical fitness level.
  • Develops a fitness program for the guest.
  • Conduct exercise classes for the guests. Organize fitness scheduled and coordinates regularly
  • Monitors the progress for the guest’s fitness program.
  • Assists members in the Fitness Center with use of equipment.
  • Always be in top physical condition.
  • Prepare the fitness department equipment and supplies daily.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments pertinent to the department and become well-versed and trained in their usage.
  • Performs special projects delegated by the manager and/or director.
  • Ensures to maintain a pleasant visit for each guest, have enough towels and water supply for guests.
  • Conduct tours of the facility.
  • Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the facility, especially after guest use.
  • Takes inventory of the Fitness Center every month.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance and posture, as well as all personnel involved in the Fitness Center operation or under his/her supervision.
  • Maintain all equipment. Notify the Fitness Manager or his/her delegates of any damage or losses.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
  • To understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
  • To ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
  • To understand and strictly adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.
  • To report for duty punctually always wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.
