QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software; knowledge of Oasys / Sun System / Opera is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude

 

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules according to hotel timelines.
  • Ensure accuracy in general ledger entries and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
  • Support in monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Assist in payroll verification and other accounting-related administrative duties as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
  • Participate in audits by providing relevant documentation and information.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all financial dealings and data management.
