Qualification & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a similar establishment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to create and execute innovative and appealing menus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership to the culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration.
- Design and execute innovative menus that align with the hotel’s culinary philosophy and standards.
- Create and update menus for all venues, ensuring a diverse range of high-quality dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Team to develop seasonal menus and special event offerings.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste are consistently met.
- Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular kitchen inspections.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage kitchen schedules, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and manage the kitchen budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining cost controls.
- Stay abreast of culinary trends, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings.
- Continuously seek ways to elevate the culinary experience and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance satisfaction.
