Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or science.
- Quality Management System Lead Auditor training.
- 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with emphasis on safety, training and operations, of which 5 years are in a training supervisory role.
- Extensive experience in personal safety and safety culture in both personal and process safety.
- Ability to coach senior management.
- High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
- High degree of analytical and constructive thinking ability.
- Advanced computer literacy, to include extensive knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint.
- Ability to self-organize and maintain strict attention to detail in planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Key Job Accountabilities – I
- Manage the development and implementation of HSE&Q training programs in line with Company and international best practices by collaborating with subject matter experts to meet the specific needs of CLIENT , in alignment with Company and local regulations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Incident and Injury Free (IIF) corporate safety culture program, promoting a culture of awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement. Drives improvement in safety ownership, leadership capabilities and cultural maturity.
- Responsible for performing the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for all HSE&Q related topics in line with Company policies and procedures and translating this information into HSE&Q Training Matrices fit for the various job functions in the Company. Determines training requirements and frequencies.
- Establish HSE&Q training KPIs, monitors compliance, and communicates safety training statistics to management to take appropriate action.
- Drive the Safety Culture and Training component of the onboarding program for all CLIENT stakeholders to ensure compliance to HSE&Q requirements and ensure availability of personnel to execute assigned activities to prevent delays.
Key Job Accountabilities – II
- Ensure a robust IIF culture by establishing policies, procedures and best practices delivered through training, campaigns and on-site coaching, and embed IIF principles within the working culture of the Company.
- Oversee the IIF Champions/Observers program where site audits are conducted using checklists based on safety statistics and trends. Train new coaches and provide feedback about the results of these site audits to individuals and groups to positively change safety-related attitudes and behaviours.
- Guide and be responsible for the maintenance and management of access control to confidential and critical records such as HSE&Q training, Medical Fit to Work status for contractors etc. in the Companys Learning Managing System (LMS), which are linked to site access, and critical applications such as the electronic Permit to Work (ePTW) system, and authorisation to work on high-risk electrical equipment etc.
