QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • An average of 3 to 5 years of experience in system administration and managing on-premises and cloud-hosted servers.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Azure services.
  • Proficient in managing Nutanix Clusters, Hyper-V High Availability clusters, and supporting virtual machines.
  • Extensive experience with software deployment, patch management, and SCCM administration.
  • Strong background in DHCP and DNS administration, particularly with DDI solutions.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automating system tasks and managing infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Familiarity with security solutions, including Symantec Protection Manager and Cisco IronPort mail security.
  • Experience with managing email systems such as Cisco Unified CM and Cisco Digital Media Manager.

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and collaboration with security teams to address vulnerabilities

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : 

  • Administer on-premises and Azure-hosted servers, ensuring high availability and system performance.
  • Identify gaps in system infrastructure and deploy new solutions to maintain system integrity and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with network, application, and database teams for smooth IT system operations.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Online services.
  • Oversee and manage Nutanix Cluster and Hyper-V High Availability clusters, supporting all virtual machines.
  • Manage all Azure virtual machines and deploy new server solutions as needed.
  • Administer and configure App Spaces and Resource containers on Azure, monitoring workloads and preparing for future growth.
  • Support and manage DDI solutions for DHCP and DNS services.
  • Work with the security team to resolve vulnerabilities and ensure timely application of security patches.
  • Provide training and support for new solutions to improve the IT
  • department’s efficiency.
  • Resolve user issues by working directly with the help desk and IT support teams, offering troubleshooting and support via telephone.
  • Administrate shared file systems, create folders, and manage security permissions.
  • Monitor and review system logs daily, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, group policies, email groups, and security groups in Active Directory.
  • Administer Symantec Protection Manager, Right Fax, Symprex Email Signature Manager, and various Cisco Systems (IronPort mail security, Unified CM Administration, and Digital Media Management).
