QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

1 Qualifications, Experience and Competencies requirement of Contractor personnel

Following shall be minimum requirements for all resources:

1.1 Language:

A. Engineer and Supervisor shall have knowledge of and ability to communicate effectively in written English

and spoken English and to write business or technical reports effectively in English language.

B. Technicians shall have working level proficiency of Read, Write, speak and Understand competency in

English language.

1.2 Safety:

Applicable to all the positions:

A. Shall be well familiar with the hazardous chemicals / materials used in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer

industry, their hazards, and safe practices to perform the Installation/Maintenance activity safely.

B. Shall always adhere to Company Safety requirements.

C. Shall have knowledge about PTW(permit to work) system in large scale industries and shall pass

COMPANYs PTW as well as PTW acceptance authorization post training assessment tests.

D. Shall understand and work within the framework of COMPANYs Maintenance, HSEQ Policy, procedures and

regulations.

1.3 Job specific:

Position Qualifications and Competency

Maintenance Planning

Engineer

Qualification, experience, and competency in respective disciple:

Bachelors Engineering degree (12+4 years).

(Mechanical -1no. Electrical -1no., Instrument -1 no.)

05 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and

competency*

Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset

maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable. Competency and work

experience in ERP – SAP, preferably in SAP S4-HANA including Competency and

work experience in Maintenance related Master data creation, master data

updating, master data deletion etc in SAP.

1.4 Following are detailed hands-on experience and competencies requirements.

A. Maintenance Planning Engineer:

– Prime responsibility for carrying out the planning of daily maintenance activities with primary

responsibility to ensure right-first-time job performance so that equipment reliability is maximized,

while improving maintenance tool time ,work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays

through planning and coordination of labor and non-labor resources including materials and services.

– The role is expected to be able to remove uncertainty to execute planning in a systematic, efficient and

economical way with forecasted maintenance job planning approach.

 

– He or she should be able to independently develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance

work to meet budgets and schedules.

– Planning Engineer shall have Competency and work experience in SAP Maintenance module, preferably

in SAP S4-HANA including order planning, Purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call-off orders,

service orders, Maintenance related Master data creation, updation, deletion etc.

Routine maintenance job planning

– Establish, maintain and improve the Maintenance Plans within the area of responsibility

– Develop equipment preventive maintenance schedule.

– Based on the daily new work request from production, Planning engineer shall prepare detailed activity

break up along with the estimation of required resources for the job i.e. internal and external

manpower, materials and services.

– Preparing work pack for each work order.

– Coordinate and review the work plan for assigned maintenance activities; review and evaluate planned

work, methods , procedures and oversee spare parts inventory.

Contract Handling

– Participate in maintenance contracts handling including scope development, specifications, initiating

procurement process, technical evaluation and provide support to superiors for management approval

process as and when required.

– Day to day coordination with contractors to supply manpower and/or services based on requirement

during daily work order planning.

– Verify and process the invoices submitted by the contractor.

Spares and Materials management

– Communicate and Co-ordinate with end-users to ensure spares and materials are made available by

Planning Engineers for schedule activities. Also provide feedback to MRP so that cost-effective

replenishment levels are maintained.

– Updating the item master including item specifications, Bill of Material, Spare Parts Criticality and new

item codes in ERP as and when required.

– Responsible for the Periodic Inventory review & Changes in the buffer stock levels with the coordination

of end-users.

– Co-ordinate with Supply Chain department and Contractors for procurement of spares to ensure the

availability.

Work Progress Reporting

– Provide superiors with work status reports to enable effective monitoring of overall progress against

agreed plans.

– Provide the Maintenance key performance indicators data to superiors on weekly and monthly basis.

Annual look ahead plan and cost optimization

– Estimate the annual planning of major maintenance job pertaining to individual area of responsibility

and provide inputs to budgeting process.

– Forecast the requirement of labor resources, materials and services and initiate necessary procurement

actions to ensure that all resources are made available on time in order to achieve optimized

maintenance cost.

– Record keeping in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).

– Good HSEQ (health safety environment & quality) record in his past working.

Read, understand, and support execute the jobs as per standard operating procedure/ work instruction.

– Comply with Company Life Saving Rules as per PSa-001 Life Saving Rule Document.

– Comply with all relevant procedures of Company Integrated Management System comprising of

Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, Responsible Care, IFA Product Stewardship &

energy Management System.
