Qualification & Experience:

• Ideally you are qualified engineering graduate to B.Tech or equivalent from an accredited university in Mechanical / Marine engineering discipline.

  With a minimum experience of 12 Years a.        Marine maintenance industry experience preferably in a port/shipyard atmosphere is required of which 4 years must have been at a supervisory level.

  Shall be familiar with pumps, compressors, pipes and fittings, material specifications.

  Experience with computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP.

  Knowledge in interpreting SPIRS and identification of spares. Knowledge of Inventory Control and Project Management.

  Shall be capable of trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, compressors,

  Experience in SPM maintenance activities, mobile cranes.

  Shall be responsible for providing a variety of skilled work related to the maintenance and repair of mechanical / marine systems as well as for planning, scheduling and supervising the work of subordinates to deal objectively and harmoniously with others, and to render sound decisions.

  Shall be familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings and the like.

  Familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment.

  You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills,

  The candidate starts with general skills like repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in Oil and Gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with  QatarEnergy in which the Project completed 08 years multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area

Client satisfaction concluded by a new project contract awards with new Positions added.

Shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations undertaken by the maintenance team under his control. A thorough knowledge of all aspects, of port mechanical maintenance works is required.

Experience in SPM maintenance activities, mobile cranes.

To develop contract scope, reviewing TC and acknowledge of managing contracts.

To monitor computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP.

To troubleshoot the maintenance faults and problem solving.

Hands-on experience in working with Work Permit system Oil & Gas Industry.

In addition to the above a sound understanding of QatarEnergy safety rules and regulations is a requirement.

Operation and maintenance of complete mechanical / marine Systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, inspection.

Draws attention to his ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols.

Your main duties will be to:-

– Ensuring the maintenance tasks.
– Installing and performing diagnostic tests on Mechanical / marine systems.
– Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
– Troubleshooting malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
– Documenting processes and maintaining service records.
– Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
– Optimizing efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
– Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
– Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
