Qualification & Experience:

Specific criteria: Male Arabic speaker

2 years Diploma in Occupational Therapy OR Diploma in Healthcare related field

At least 2 years of experience in medical or rehabilitation field up to current

Roles and Responsibilities:

Carry out treatment plans formulated by the Occupational Therapist
Report on clinical activities and patient performance to the Therapist as required
Coordinate with the Therapist regarding specific treatment procedures in the area of specialty
Apply therapeutic modalities and techniques under the direction of the therapist
Assist in the fabrication of splints and equipment measurement as required
Ensure that treatment areas for individual or group therapy is prepared and organized
Ensure that proper positioning, safe lifting and transfer techniques are utilized in patient care
Participate in patient and family education
Ensure that disinfection procedures according to infection control policy are adhered to and maintain a record of actions taken
Maintain an inventory and detailed record of patient statistics
Order, store and maintain the unit supplies under the direction of the supervisor
Contribute to the quality assurance efforts of the section by promoting high standards of safety and implementing related HMC policies and protocols
Continuously develop skills by actively participating in regular training
