QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- 8 years experience in oil and gas Industry, in the field of Operations & Maintenance out of which 5 years experience in offshore oil & gas facilities.
- Knowledge & experience in chemical logistics management.
- Comprehensive understanding of pipeline operations, including pipeline pigging and flow assurance.
- Ability to review and produce technical procedures.
- Awareness and understanding of business supply contracts.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office & CMMS).
JOB PURPOSE :
- Develop and coordinate the companys offshore pipeline chemical inventory and vendor supply network, including logistical requirements across all offshore assets to achieve the company objectives of reliable, sustainable production through the entire offshore pipeline delivery & support systems.
- Establish and maintain, through coordination and oversight, the pipeline chemicals supply chain network, including tender process, contract management, QA/QC requirements and all necessary delivery support logistics.
- Ensure the Corrosion Inhibitor contracts are in place and all future contracts provide for sufficient Corrosion Inhibitor inventory availability across all assets for both Wet & Dry offshore export pipeline systems.
- Ensure the MEG supply contracts are in place and all future contracts provide for sufficient available MEG volumes to be available across all offshore assets, as well as incorporation assets from Major Project expansion, in support of the Flow Assurance requirements throughout the identified winter hydrate seasons.
- Counsel and coordinate the supply requirements for MEG with each identified Flow Assurance Project (FAP) project member and maintain close collaboration with each party to ensure expectations are met.
- Coordinate and maintain supporting contracts including MEG Road Tankers Contract, 3rd Party Surveyor Contract, and Chemical Storage Contract to retain an optimum offshore chemical supply chain network.
- Review and maintain as a contingency, a surplus MEG External Storage Contract to ensure the adequacy of storage tank capacity for any MEG surplus at the end of each winter season.
- Provide support to flow assurance engineering and corrosion engineering in the chemicals qualification process.
- Advise, coordinate and support fully all activities related to the chemical supply chain management, including chemical purchase, chemical QA/QC, management of the unloading of volumes from the assigned MEG tankers to the Onshore Storage, Pumping & Loading (OSPL) Tank and with the historical data management process.
- Provide yearly chemical budget estimations and ensure invoice management is aligned with established process and procedures.
