Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 4years of job-related experience.

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a sales plan for the assigned region and providing World Class Service to customers through exceptional commitment and self-managed, pro-active sales focus for the assigned region.

The role also manages all sales activities within the region and responsible for implementation of sales business plan for the assigned region.

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

  • Accountable for the strategic direction of Discover Qatar (DQ) and Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) sales in the region of responsibility and define the optimal way to increase sales by providing ideas and recommendations for products and packages. Within the Region, identify opportunities, new ideas that contribute to drive DQ and QRH commercial revenue targets. Also provide feedback on all (new and existing) products for the region
  • Develop guidelines and tools to effectively execute promotional events and programs whilst maintaining the Qatar Airways standards at all levels and to identify opportunities to support other departments in their initiatives to promote the Qatar Airways brand at the regional and global level
  • Deliver and exceed set revenue targets for the region — also execute sales activities according to the regional marketing plan.
  • Account manage a portfolio of accounts to drive agreed revenue targets
  • Provide monthly sales reports to the Line Manager on competitive environment and overall regional sales and marketing activities executions. Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls presentations, closed sales and follow up activities within their assigned territory.
  • Prepare professional presentations – correspond with prospects and clients.
  • Responsible for competitor analysis within the region, preparing customers’ profiles.
  • Assist the Senior Management in developing and managing implementation of annual business plan for the region in line with Discover Qatar medium-long term business strategy which specifies how revenue targets will be achieved.
  • Assist the Line Manager with preparation of regional annual budgets to the SVP DQ to ensure Discover Qatar maximize the opportunities.
