Sales Planning Analyst

Qualification & Experience:
  • Expert in MS excel (Pivots, Macro’s, ability to combine and split numbers by channel/carline/list code and work with data from various sources/templates)
  • Analytical skills around numbers/trends
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Bachelor’s degree
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Sales Planning (Monthly)

    • Lead the process of obtaining Sales Forecasts by Channel, Carline, and List Code from respective sales teams. Coordinate with Supply Chain to obtain the latest arrivals forecast by list code.
    • Develop and maintain a planning sheet to map out sales forecasts and arrivals data, determining optimal orders linked to monthly supply.
    • Present summarized sales and order forecasts for the year to senior management for review and approval.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to inform strategic planning.
  • Stock Reporting (Weekly)

    • Oversee the generation of updated stock and pipeline reports, ensuring they are monitored against orders.
    • Manage the creation and analysis of weekly stock age reports to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Serve as the Sales Director’s key advisor for all sales, order, stock, and business unit allocation simulations and analyses.
    • Lead the generation and analysis of velocity and sensitivity reports by list code, color, and channel to identify trends and support strategic decisions.
  • Process Improvement
    • Implement best practices for sales data management and reporting.
    • Evaluate current sales data and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
