Responsibilities Handled:

  • Incident and near-miss reporting, including determination of probable causes and enforcement of preventive measures to ensure a 100% safe working environment.
  • Preparation of all project HSE plans, manuals, and procedures, including those for construction, confined space entry, and site emergency response.
  • Conducting regular internal project audits at the site to verify compliance with project HSE management systems and issuing audit reports.
  • Providing support and guidance to other site personnel and project teams on HSE issues.
  • Recruitment, interviewing, selection, hiring, scheduling, and allocation of HSE professionals for the company.
  • Liaising with project HSE managers on HSE-related issues as required.
  • Attending daily walk through and weekly safety meetings.
  • Educating workers on safe work practices.
  • Conducting mock drills every three months to train workers on emergency procedures.
  • Raising awareness among workers about fire protection, site safety requirements, and housekeeping.
  • Conducting safety orientations, training sessions, and meetings for workers and other personnel.
  • Reviewing safe work plans before commencing work.
  • Performing daily inspections of heavy equipment checklists and verifying third-party certifications.
  • Ensuring safety compliance around hot work, hydro testing, hydro jetting, sandblasting, scaffolding, and other high-risk activities.
  • Mapping out training plans and schedules and developing comprehensive training programs.
  • Maintaining trainee databases and training records.
  • Assessing the impact of training on employee skills and key performance indicators (KPIs).
