Qualification & Experience:

1. Extensive Experience in leading and facilitating qualitative/semi-quantitative risk assessment studies for upstream offshore facilities such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOPs/Desktop Safety Reviews, LOPA/SIL assessment, Bowtie Reviews, Operational Risk Assessments etc.2. Extensive Experience in Quantitative Risk assessment studies for upstream offshore facilities such as fire, explosion and dispersion modeling, quantitative risk assessment, EERA, ESSA, heli-deck dispersion studies, fire and gas mapping etc.3. Extensive Experience in Major Accident Hazards Management / Safety Case Development, Safety Critical Element / Barrier management and Process Safety management system (PSMS) Implementation (i.e., CCPS 20 elements).4. Experience in Leading / Facilitating Process Safety / HSE Audits and Review is a plus5. Minimum of 8 years of total experience working in Process safety risk management and loss prevention, preferably in Oil &Gas Upstream Offshore operations.6. Experience in a Safety Engineering/HSE supervisory/managerial position or consultant / auditor or working for a consultancy / audit firm will be considered as a plus.7. Excellent written and spoken English (Arabic would also be an advantage), analytical skills and high degree of computer literacy.
* Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science* Post Graduate degree or professional certificate in HSE / Safety Engineering is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide safety and risk engineering support to Idd El-Shargi Asset OM(I) departments. Effectively patriciate in the assessment and evaluation of operational risks for existing and new installations. Process Safety / Risk Engineer is also responsible to participate in the support, development and implementation of Idd El-Shargi Asset OM(I) Process Safety/ Risk Management programs.
