QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Education: SHES-related NVQ Level 5; or Postgraduate Diploma; or Postgraduate Degree. Experience: Minimum 10 years’ proven offshore/onshore construction experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Languages: English – proficient
Strong background in offshore construction and installation HSE coordination. Certified in recognized HSE standards; capable of risk assessment facilitation. Skilled in incident investigation, safety training, and HSE documentation management. Medically fit to work in offshore environments. What else should you know? ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purpose of the position: As HSE Coordinator / Engineer – Offshore T&I and Hook-up, you will respond to the Project HSE Manager and be part of the HSE Department within COMP2 Project. You will be based in Doha with missions offshore to support the HSE Department during: Transport & Installation (T&I) activities Hook-up and Commissioning (HU & PCC) activities How can you support us? Here are your responsibilities: Lead Project Risk Assessments (PRA) in line with contractor procedures, involving both Company and Contractor teams. Perform HSE Risk Screening as per Company procedures, involving Offshore Platform Operations, Company, and Contractor stakeholders. Conduct Formal Risk Assessments with Company-approved facilitators (HSE/PMT). Support incident investigations to identify root causes and define corrective/preventive actions. Carry out safety inspections and audits to detect hazards, verify compliance, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Deliver safety training sessions in line with the training matrix for offshore personnel and office staff. Manage HSE documentation including bridging documents for fleets/barges, hook-up and installation vessels, and project-specific HSE procedures. Report directly to the Project HSE Manager and act as deputy for the T&I HSE Manager, HU HSE Manager, and PCC HSE Manager when required.
