Qualifications and Requirements
Education & Certification
• Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or Beauty Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Additional certifications in advanced modalities such as aromatherapy, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, Thai massage, or facial therapy are advantageous.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional spa experience within a luxury or five-star spa environment.
• Proven expertise across a broad range of treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate other therapists.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong technical skills and product knowledge with excellent hands-on ability.
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills with a warm, professional approach.
• Strong sales acumen with the ability to promote spa services and retail products effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining grace and composure.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages such as Arabic are an advantage.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Experience & Treatment Delivery
• Perform a wide range of spa treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs & warps, hammam, and hand & foot treatments following Alfardan Spa’s protocols and brand standards.
• Conduct detailed consultations to assess guests’ needs, preferences, contraindications, ensuring tailored treatment experiences.
• Provide consistent, high-quality service and personalized recommendations to promote guests’ overall well-being.
• Maintain professional communication with guests before, during, and after treatments to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Promote homecare products and retail items with genuine, knowledgeable recommendations to support continued wellness.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure all treatment areas, equipment, and linens are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
• Follow strict sanitation and disinfection procedures in compliance with Alfardan Spa’s health and safety policies.
• Report any maintenance or supply issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted service flow.
• Support the management team in achieving departmental goals through efficient use of time, resources, and teamwork.
• Participate in regular stock checks, treatment audits, and operational briefings as required.
Leadership & Team Development
• Mentor and guide Spa Therapists by demonstrating excellence in technique, guest interaction, and professionalism.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new therapists, ensuring they understand and adhere to Alfardan Spa standards.
• Support management in conducting skill assessments and identifying training needs.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team environment.

Brand & Professional Representation
• Uphold Alfardan Spa’s philosophy and brand values in every interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and presentation standards in line with the company’s image.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous learning, staying updated on spa trends, wellness innovations, and new techniques.
