QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in laundry supervision or management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of laundry machinery, detergents, and cleaning agents.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the laundry staff during shifts.
• Ensure the efficient and timely processing of all laundry and linen to meet hotel standards.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment and arrange for repairs or servicing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the laundry department.
• Train and develop laundry staff to maintain high performance and quality.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies and chemicals, and place orders as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, staff attendance, and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet operational requirements.
• Implement environmentally friendly laundry practices in line with Accor’s sustainability initiatives.
