QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in PR & Communications or a related field.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing and implementing the hotel’s annual PR and communication strategy.
- Draft, edit, and translate press releases, media kits, and feature stories in both English and Arabic.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international media representatives.
- Coordinate and host media visits, interviews, press conferences, and familiarization (FAM) trips.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR activity and performance reports.
Communications & Brand Messaging
- Ensure all internal and external communications align with Rixos brand standards.
- Support the creation of engaging stories that promote the hotel’s products, services, and unique experiences.
- Assist in handling crisis communications and maintaining a positive public image.
- Manage translation and localization of promotional materials to ensure cultural accuracy and tone consistency.
Digital & Social Media Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media content that reflects brand identity and key messages.
- Monitor online mentions, reviews, and public sentiment to support reputation management.
- Assist in planning and executing digital PR campaigns and influencer collaborations.
Events, Activations & Partnerships
- Support the organization and promotion of hotel events, press launches, and community initiatives.
- Ensure consistent communication before, during, and after PR and promotional events.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Maintain a media database and track outreach activities.
- Prepare monthly PR and communication performance reports.
- Manage PR-related budgets, suppliers, and agency coordination as required.
