QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage)
  • Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Confident, friendly, and polished demeanor

 

JOB PURPOSE :

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Escort guests to their tables while presenting menus and explaining dining concepts when required
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service in line with luxury standards
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns courteously and efficiently
  • Manage restaurant reservations using the designated booking system
  • Maintain accurate waitlists and seating plans to optimize table turnover
  • Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth guest flow
  • Monitor dining room activity to maintain an elegant and calm atmosphere
  • Communicate clearly with servers, supervisors, and managers regarding guest preferences and VIP arrivals
  • Support the Food & Beverage team during peak hours
  • Ensure special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, VIP guests) are acknowledged
  • Maintain impeccable personal grooming and uniform standards at all times
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Follow all hotel policies, service procedures, and brand standards
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Comply with local regulations and hotel policies
