QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong proficiency in both verbal and written English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying calm and composed
  • Flexible with work hours, including availability for overnight shifts
  • Previous customer service experience is an advantage

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the highest standard of guest service at the front entrance at all times
  • Warmly welcome and assist all arriving guests and visitors
  • Escort guests to Reception and recognize regular or returning guests
  • Provide guests with assistance on transportation and directions
  • Maintain good relationships with taxi drivers and manage taxi arrangements for guests
  • Keep the front entrance clean and orderly, with special attention to glass areas, doors, and ashtrays
  • Monitor and control traffic at the front entrance to ensure smooth flow
  • Report any incidents or accidents at the front entrance promptly to the Guest Service Manager
  • Handle valet services efficiently, ensuring guests’ cars are parked safely and with care
  • Note any pre-existing damage (e.g., dents/scratches) before issuing valet tickets
  • Coordinate with valet staff for timely parking and retrieval of vehicles
  • Remain alert to security concerns and follow appropriate safety measures
  • Stay informed about hotel events and guide guests to their correct destinations
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor with all guests and colleagues
  • Foster cooperative working relationships with other hotel departments
  • Follow all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices
  • Adhere to department schedules and report to duty on time
