Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality/ Tourism industry essential or
  • Equivalent vocational qualification obtained working for a 4/5 star hotel or fine dining restaurant
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Excellent command of English, Arabic desirable
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • Previous team management experience desirable

Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Deals with all customer in a tactful, polite and friendly manner
  • Opens whenever possible the front door for customers entering or leaving the Restaurant/ outlet
  • Welcomes customers by greeting with enthusiasm while leading them to the record reservations, with patience at all times
  • Thanks guests as they leave and invites them to return
  • Keeps the working area/ restaurant tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping, perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glasses, ensures restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly.
  •  Assists customer’s need, refilling beverages, billing out and doing multi task when necessary like answering phone calls and fills to go orders.
  •  Provides senior management with feedback about arising customer complaints, encountered service issues
  • Visits customers table when necessary to ensure the needs are attended
  • Ensures full adherence to internal SOP, Hygiene and Food safety standards
  • Answers calls for reservations, cancellations or general inquiries.
  • Upholds impeccable grooming standards at all times
