Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality/ Tourism industry essential or
- Equivalent vocational qualification obtained working for a 4/5 star hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent command of English, Arabic desirable
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Previous team management experience desirable
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deals with all customer in a tactful, polite and friendly manner
- Opens whenever possible the front door for customers entering or leaving the Restaurant/ outlet
- Welcomes customers by greeting with enthusiasm while leading them to the record reservations, with patience at all times
- Thanks guests as they leave and invites them to return
- Keeps the working area/ restaurant tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping, perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glasses, ensures restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly.
- Assists customer’s need, refilling beverages, billing out and doing multi task when necessary like answering phone calls and fills to go orders.
- Provides senior management with feedback about arising customer complaints, encountered service issues
- Visits customers table when necessary to ensure the needs are attended
- Ensures full adherence to internal SOP, Hygiene and Food safety standards
- Answers calls for reservations, cancellations or general inquiries.
- Upholds impeccable grooming standards at all times
