Qualification & Experience:
- Pre graduate Diploma / High national Diploma (duration of 2 years is a must. Working towards a Bachelor’s degree would be preferred.
- Excellent Good working knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) or Manufacturing and Warehousing (M&W – training and certification course of Pepsi Co.) is a must. Certified in TPM/W&M is an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling high speed water / carbonated soft drinks lines is a must.
- Language proficiency (English is a must, and additionally Arabic would be preferred)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Equipment Management: Ensure proper startup, shutdown, and maintenance of equipment according to SOPs.
- Multitasking: Operate and maintain various equipment efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality, identify deviations, and escalate to the production team leader.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment.
- Efficiency: Minimize unplanned downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Documentation: Accurately record operating parameters, downtimes, and other relevant data.
- Changeovers: Conduct flavor/package changes efficiently to minimize downtime and waste.
- Quality Checks: Perform regular quality checks on both the product and equipment.
- Setup: Prepare machinery and ensure necessary materials are available.
- Defect Identification: Monitor the line for defective materials and take corrective actions.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment for equipment and facilities.
- Equipment Checks: Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- SOP Adherence: Follow all standard operating procedures for efficient equipment operation.
- Quality Coordination: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to maintain high-quality standards.
- Audits: Participate in audits conducted by Pepsi International (PI).
- Miscellaneous: Perform other duties as assigned.
- Operator Training: Train other operators on the proper use of machinery.
- Predictive Maintenance: Proactively identify potential maintenance issues and recommend innovative solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives like TPM and M&W to enhance processes and efficiency.
- Shift Flexibility: Be willing to work in morning, afternoon, or evening shifts from Saturday to Thursday, with potential weekend work based on business needs.
