QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience in static and package equipment design and engineering. Strong background in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, LNG, and fertiliser industries. Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, TEMA, etc.). Experience in both onshore and offshore facilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

The Mechanical Engineer – Static & Package Equipment is responsible for the design, detailed engineering, and project management of static, package, and combustion equipment for Oil & Gas refineries, LNG plants, petrochemical facilities, fertilizer plants, power plants, and related onshore/offshore installations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, engineering expertise, and the ability to oversee projects from feasibility through execution.

Engineering & Technical Activities

Perform design and detailed engineering of static and package equipment such as:

Pressure vessels
Heat exchangers
API tanks
Fired heaters
Boilers
HRSGs
Various packaged equipment

Develop and review:

Technical specifications
Mechanical datasheets
Material requisitions
Technical bid evaluations (TBE)
Material handling reports
Scope of work documentation

Execute engineering deliverables for:

Feasibility studies
Pre-FEED
FEED
EPC projects (greenfield & brownfield)

Project Management

Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Prepare project execution plans, quality plans, and HSE plans.
Ensure all engineering tasks are completed on schedule and within project requirements.
