QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel and/or resort or fine-dining restaurant
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills; able to motivate, train and develop a team
  • Excellent command of English (both spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, public holidays and busy periods
  • Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., MICROS) is preferred
  • Previous experience with international luxury service standards (Forbes, LQA) is a plus

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery and exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Ensure that all team members provide warm, attentive, personalized service consistent with Raffles & Fairmont brand standards
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in scheduling, training, mentoring and performance management of service staff
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and timely, investigating issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely food service, correct presentation, and menu knowledge
  • Monitor the cleanliness, maintenance and presentation of the outlet, ensuring hygiene, safety and operational standards are maintained
  • Maintain full knowledge of menu items, promotions, special events and wine/beverage lists; ensure team is equally knowledgeable
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering of supplies, stock control as needed
  • Lead by example — maintain grooming, appearance, service etiquette and teamwork to foster a high-performing environment
