QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience as a bellman or in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit and able to carry heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic English language skills required; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
  • Professional appearance with strong attention to hygiene and uniform standards.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a helpful and proactive attitude.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stand ready at the main entrance to warmly greet arriving guests.
  • Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, escorting them to or from their rooms.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of room locations and hotel facilities to guide guests effectively.
  • Provide directions and local information about Doha attractions, transportation, and services.
  • Issue and verify luggage tags to ensure proper handling and security.
  • Ensure cleanliness and good condition of all luggage trolleys.
  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and wear a complete, clean uniform at all times.
  • Stay attentive to activity in the lobby area and respond promptly to guest needs.
  • Assist with valet parking, package deliveries, or errands as requested.
  • Complete shift checklists and communicate key handover information clearly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
