Qualification & Experience:

• Engineering degree in process or bachelor degree with minimum 10 years experience
• Minimum of 10 years of total experiences with at least 6 years demonstrated as commissioning experience in major capital projects
• Experiences in high pressure test and gross air leak test
• Hands on experiences with hydraulic oil flushing and Helium leak test
• Experiences for commissioning execution of critical process equipment (high pressure vessel, PSV, BDV etc. )
• Experience as interface focal point with multiple contractors on preparation, the execution phase including Simops
• Experience managed EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas project at many locations
• Familiar with system completion database ICAPS and OPERCOM methodology
• Worldwide commissioning experience with contractors or under companies involved in the commissioning and start up support of Offshore production facilities
• Able to be flexible in terms of organization and to cover time to time the needs of project in other locations (such as offshore)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage all execution of process and piping commissioning activities to achieve commissioning schedule on target with all safety requirements especially during SIMOPS and co-activities
• Monitor the contractor piping activities using the OPERCOM® Methodology and ICAPS© software (Integrated Commissioning And Progress System)
• Monitoring of VENDORS activities during commissioning (SAT, Punch list Closure, OTP etc)
• Maximize onshore commissioning activities vs offshore
• Make sure that the required commissioning spare parts and special tools are available and ready to use
• Lead execution for Process and piping commissioning at site (onshore/ offshore) and keep commissioning execution committed to targets defined by the project management. Review and approval of commissioning deliverable provided by EPC Contractor included Operational Test Procedures
• Provide guidance and timely review on contractors commissioning execution plan and processes verifying fitness for purpose and compliance with CONTRACT requirements including codes and standards
• Ensure coordination and communication for site activities with other disciplines such as construction, Hook up and Completion Team and SHE representative and provide technical support with contractor , quality, safety, planning, engineering and start up/ performance testing
• Review, approve and implement Commissioning system completion and commissioning technical documents prepared by EPC Contractor
• Ensure CONTRACTOR commissioning submitted all documents as per schedule and timely reviewed and approved in accordance with the EPC contract requirements.
• Review and propose mitigation for commissioning aspects of the Risk Management Plan and monitor the mitigation when defined
• Review all commissioning changes, including justification for cost and schedule impacts, in accordance with the PMOC procedure.
• Attend to meetings as required, mentor the trainees to develop their project skills and experience while being on site; Maintain a register of lessons learned
