Senior Document Administration / Technical Clerk

General Responsibilities:

  • Document Control: Manage the flow of documents within the organization or project (e.g., technical drawings, contracts, policies).

  • Document Management System (DMS): Maintain and operate document management systems (like Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, etc.).

  • Version Control: Ensure correct versions of documents are distributed and obsolete versions are removed or archived.

  • Filing and Archiving: Systematic storage (both physical and digital) for easy retrieval.

  • Compliance: Ensure documentation complies with company standards, project requirements, and regulations.

  • Reporting: Generate logs, reports, and document status summaries.

  • Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (e.g., engineering, HSE, quality) and external stakeholders (e.g., contractors, clients).

  • Training and Supervision: Train junior clerks or document controllers and oversee their work.
